PLI door & window bucks
Pedersen Logsmiths door and window buck system enhances the beauty of your log home and simplifies the installation of doors and windows. The bucks are manufactured out of kiln dried redwood. Either a sanded or rough sawn finish can be provided. The sides are 3" x 6", the head buck is 4" x 6" and the sill is 3" x 12".

With the bucks installed, the installation of door and windows is no different than the installation procedure in frame construction. Trimming out is also a simple process.

This buck system also eliminates the unsightly settling gap above doors and windows. The header buck is slotted into the header log so all settling is hidden. The buck is also insulated to eliminate air movement.
