Our
logyard is located in Challis, Idaho. Our geography is high desert.
The climate allows us to take dry or green logs and air dry them down
to 10% - 18% moisture content. The result being a dry, stable log.
Our
yard is 5 acres in size with plenty of room for log storage and pre-construction
of log homes. Three cranes support the construction process; an 18
ton rough terrain, a 17 ton crane and a 23 ton mobile boom truck.
The 23 ton boom truck is also available for resetting of log structures
in our area (approx. 500-800 mile radius).
A
48' Woodmizer saw mill is used for milling of wall logs, joists, purlins,
ridges adn specialty items. A wood shop provides an organized safe
environment for construction of bucks, stairs and rails.
