The Logyard

Our logyard is located in Challis, Idaho. Our geography is high desert. The climate allows us to take dry or green logs and air dry them down to 10% - 18% moisture content. The result being a dry, stable log.
Our yard is 5 acres in size with plenty of room for log storage and pre-construction of log homes. Three cranes support the construction process; an 18 ton rough terrain, a 17 ton crane and a 23 ton mobile boom truck. The 23 ton boom truck is also available for resetting of log structures in our area (approx. 500-800 mile radius).
A 48' Woodmizer saw mill is used for milling of wall logs, joists, purlins, ridges adn specialty items. A wood shop provides an organized safe environment for construction of bucks, stairs and rails.
